Monaco and Monte Carlo France
Monaco and Monte Carlo make for some of the most spectacular scenery in all of Europe, and we're not talking about the natural kind. This area is a playground for the country's rich, and the towering mansions, huge yachts, fancy cars and upscale boutiques are all part of the glitz and glam that this area is known and loved for.
The Principality of Monaco is actually a tiny country to itself, nestled on the shores of the French Riviera. Even though it only consists of roughly two square kilometers, it is packed with tourists who all come to lie on the sizzling topless beach, wander the streets or try their hand in the famous Monte-Carlo Casino. The Private Collection of Antique Cars of H.S.H. Prince Rainier III is worth taking a look at as well, as are the bizarre aquatic species housed in the Musee Oceanographique.
